Lois Bane Ross' Obituary
Lois Bane Ross, 89, of Lantana, formerly of Boynton Beach passed away peacefully on August 3, 2019. She was predeceased by her parents Beatrice and Jack Levine and her husbands Sylvan Bane who passed away in 1970 and Robert F Ross who passed away in 2012. She leaves behind her two daughters, Marla H Bane and Fern Rubin; her son-in-law’s, Michael L Benson and David Rubin; and her grandchildren Stephen Rubin and Jaime Rubin.
Born and raised in Paterson, NJ where she also resided later in life as well as in New York City, Forest Hills and Ft. Lee, NJ, she moved to Indian Springs in Boynton Beach with her second husband Bob in 1991.
Lois cherished her family and her many lifelong friends. She was a past president of the Sisterhood of Temple Emanuel of Paterson, NJ and of the Women’s Division, Ft Lee chapter of the American Technion Society. She lived a good, long and meaningful life and was surrounded by much love by the wonderful aides at The Carlisle Palm Beach and under the loving care of the Trustbridge Hospice Starfish Team. She will be deeply missed by all.
A graveside service will be held at 12:45PM on Thursday, August 8th at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S. State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449 where she will be interred with her late husband Robert, a WWII veteran. Those attending are asked to meet in lane #5 beginning at 12:30PM.
