LOUISE BENDER's Obituary
BENDER, Louise age 91 of Lantana, Florida passed away on June 4th. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on February 18, 1926, she was the beloved wife of Stanley for 66 years. Loving and devoted mother of Irene (Stuart) Berkowitz, Norman (Margaret) Bender, David (Susan) Bender, and Cherished grandmother of Rebecca (Andrew) Moffs, Julie (Rory) Mitz, Emily Berkowitz, Samuel Bender, and Joshua Bender; Adored great grandmother of Matthew, Dylan, Charlie, Lucas, Lily and Tyler; Dear Sister of four Brothers, including Albert (Bernice) Margolin and Eli (Michelle) Margolin, as well as Leon Margolin (deceased) and Flora; and Charles Margolin (deceased). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She will forever be remembered for her strength, love, humor and beauty. A Gold Life Master bridge player and teacher, and a treasured friend. Donations may be made to Morse Life or Hadassah. The Bender Family will be receiving friends Tuesday June 6, 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm, at The Carlisle, 460 E. Ocean Blvd., Lantana, FL Shiva will continue Sunday, June 11, at the residence of Irene and Stuart Berkowitz, 1 Bedford Road #3003, Toronto, Ontario M5R2B5, 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
