Lowell Sanowitz's Obituary
Lowell Barry Sanowitz, resident of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on January 4, 2023 with his beloved wife Barbara and his family by his side. Lowell is survived by his loving family which were the center of his life; his wife of 67 years Barbara Sanowitz, his three children Randi Brody, Wendy Sanowitz, and Stephen Sands, his son-in-law Eric Brody, and his five grandchildren Amanda Brody, Zachary Brody, Joshua Sands, Adam Sands, and Casey Sands. Lowell was a very special and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who found pleasure in traveling, reading, cooking, visiting museums, shopping, and giving of himself. He graduated from New York University with a business degree and was an accomplished insurance agent who moved to Florida after selling the Sanowitz Insurance Agency upon his retirement. He touched the hearts of all who knew him throughout his wonderful life. He will be missed but never forgotten. A chapel service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel-Boynton Beach. Those wishing to honor Lowell’s memory with a memorial contribution are kindly asked to consider charities that Lowell honored: St. Jude Children’s Hospital (stjude.org), Hadassah ( https://hadassahfoundation.org/), or Mazon (mazon.org).
