Marce J Haber's Obituary
Marce June Haber 90, of Delray Beach, FL, passed away on September 12, 2020. Mrs. Haber was preceded in death by a daughter, Naomi Haber and her husband, David Haber. Survivors include her son, Jonathan (Tracey) Haber; daughters, Lisa (Michael) Burkhard and Harriet Haber; grandchildren, David, Nora (Jonny) Hicks, Michael, and Daniel; sister, Joyce Wolf. Graveside services will be private. Mrs. Haber will be laid to rest at King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church, VA. Contributions may be made in her loving memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 5808 W. Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33484.
Marce was born in Brooklyn, New York, was raised in Sea Gate, and moved to Washington, DC upon her marriage in 1953 where she raised her children.
Marce moved to Florida in 2005 and found enjoyment volunteering in schools to work with children. She was an avid knitter and made many beautiful artistic garments and blankets. Her greatest joy in life was found in her four grandchildren and the anticipated arrival of her first great grandchild.
