Marcel Wittman's Obituary
Marcel Wittman was born May 31, 1934 in Paris, France. He was born to a loving family, his mother, Paulette, and his father, Marcus who died in Auschwitz in 1942. Marcel was a holocaust survivor, along with his brother Samuel, of blessed memory.
While Marcel waited to immigrate to the United States, he met his beloved future wife, Micheline when they were just 14 years old at l’OSE, a Jewish organization. They fell deeply in love and corresponded for 4 years before he was able to return to Paris and marry Micheline. They have a son, Marc Bernard Wittman, who was very devoted to his mother and father. He remained by their sides throughout their illnesses and hospitalizations.
Marcel was a savvy entrepreneur and enjoyed sharing his depth of knowledge with his family and loved ones.
Marcel is survived by his loving family: his son Marc, sister Lorraine, nephew Alain, nieces, Elana and Melissa, grand- nieces, Samara and Stella, and grandchild, Dani Jay.
Marcel was a devoted family man and he will be greatly missed.
