Marlene Strassman's Obituary
Marlene S. Strassman (nee Edelberg) 88 died on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Bethesda Hospital in Boynton Beach, Florida.
She was born March 3, 1933 to Sidney and Lilian Edelberg of Jersey City, New Jersey. Marlene married her loving husband Howard on June 4, 1954. They were happily married until Howard passed away on August 25, 1996.
Marlene is survived by her sons Neil Strassman of Boynton Beach, Florida and Jack Strassman of Middletown, New York, her sister Rita LoGuidice and her husband Joe, her grandchildren Matthew and Danielle, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Marlene was a happy person who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She especially liked to eat out, play cards with friends, travel, watch tv (especially General Hospital), and she was a huge New York Mets and New York Jets fan.
A chapel service will be held at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel 11115 Jog Road, Boynton Beach, FL on Friday, August 20, 2021 3:15pm. Burial will take place out of state on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Beth Moses Cemetery West Babylon, NY. Contributions may be made to the Cancer Society of your choice.
