Marsha S. Hammer's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Marsha Hammer, 79, of Boca Raton, Florida, on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
Born in Philadelphia, Marsha met Jerry, and together they raised their family on Long Island, New York. They later enjoyed spending time at their second home in Boca Raton before making it their permanent home in 2022.
Marsha embraced life with enthusiasm and was adored by all who knew her.
She was truly the life of every party. No matter who you were, she had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome. She lit up every room she entered and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Throughout her life, Marsha faced every challenge with remarkable strength and quiet grace. Her resilience inspired those around her. She never backed down from a challenge and was always there to lend a helping hand.
How we will miss her sparkle, her impeccable style, and yes, even her opinions on everything. Marsha was a beloved member of the Boca West Country Club. You could almost always find her on the golf course, beating her friends at Mahjong or sharing laughs at happy hour with the dear friends she cherished so deeply.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we are forever grateful for the precious gift of having known and loved her. The love she shared, the lessons she taught, and the memories she created will continue to live on in all who knew her. Her spirit and the joy she brought to so many lives will remain in our hearts forever.
Marsha is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jerry, and her beloved children, Lisa, Jamie, and David.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Road, Boynton Beach, Florida 33437.
