Marsha Samuels' Obituary
Marsha Samuels was born on June 10th, 1936, in Kingston New York, daughter to Alexander and Beatrice Woolf. A magna cum laude alumna from Worcester State College, she was a beloved reading teacher who not only stood up to advocate for students with disabilities but devised a curriculum to help them achieve newfound success.
She was an artist and an avid reader and writer who enjoyed golf, exercise, dance, good food, traveling, and spending time with her family. She loved to laugh with her husband of 61 years, Larry, who she often described as “bigger than life”. Their zest for life and for adventure was an inspiration to their family. Her presence and her love will be missed greatly.
Marsha is survived by her two daughters, Tonya Ingram and Cherise Cahill; her three grandchildren Ashley Liemer and her husband Josh Liemer, Aaron Ingram, and Netia Ingram and her partner Amanda Ingram; her four great-grandchildren Béla Liemer, Zigi Liemer, Kazimir Ingram and Viara Ingram; and her nieces Jessica Bonath and Gillian Woolf.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 11520 State Road 7 Boynton Beach, FL 33473.
