Martin Chapman's Obituary
Martin Lee Chapman, born Feb. 12, 1937, age 87 passed away after battling years of Melanoma Cancer. He proved to be a Warrior and survived for many years enjoying his wife, family, pets Chips, Cody and his friends to the fullest. He passed away on the evening of July 15, 2024.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Randy Schaefer Chapman of Port St. Lucie, Fl and 3 children, Lisa Chapman Ivanicki of NJ, Susan Chapman of NYC and Jeff Chapman and his wife Julie of North Carolina, as well as 4 grandchildren, Alexandra Ivanicki, Rachael Ivanicki, Spencer Chapman and Ethan Chapman.
Martin Lee Chapman was well respected and enjoyed his success in the Radio and TV Media business in New York City for years. He retired at 60 moving to Delray Beach Florida and then to Port Saint Lucie Florida where he was recognized as an avid card player, and amazing detailed black and white artist. Marty lived life fully, a great cook and as he described himself a true foodie, he loved experiencing new restaurants and great wine. He traveled most of the world and always made new friends.
Marty Chapman, a genuine man who most of all loved his family.
He will be missed.
