Marty and I grew up together. We played together from, probably,the age of 2. Our dads were buddies growing up.I know rhey went hunting together
We moved to Great Neck in 1940.I m sure that part of the reason we came to Great Neck
was because Leo and Blanche were living here and helped to persuade us
Marty and I played in the backyard of Nassau Drive until Leo sold off the back yard
and houses were built on Stone Ave
Marty and I and others later played on the side piece of North Drive,when the Hausmans moved there.Marty and I were buddies thru Kensington School and got into all kids of trouble, but we had fun.
When we entered Great Neck High School,we began to grow apart.Sadly, I don t know.
Necessarily, probably. We ere different people
But, I have good memories and I wanted to share them with Jane, whom I knew and Helaine, whom I don t think I ever met
