Martin Lieberman's Obituary
Martin Lieberman was born in Hamburg, Germany on October 12, 1924. He was the 9th of 10 children. During the Holocaust, Martin worked in a Labor Camp where he learned tool and die skills. He came to the United States in January, 1947, with his four surviving brothers. They all married, and made good lives for themselves in Brooklyn, New York. Martin married Phyllis Greenblatt, and they had two children, Susan Lieberman Nullman, and Jay Lieberman. Martin used the skills he learned during the War to help him start his company, Phylmar Machine. They made precision parts for many things including aircraft, and even the clips for the Motorola beepers. In 1974, Martin retired, and he and Phyllis relocated to Kendale Lakes, in Miami Florida. They had many good years there playing golf and traveling. They eventually moved up to Boynton Beach in 1996, and then to the Forum independent/assisted living.
Martin is survived by his wife of 69 years, Phyllis, his daughter Susan(Jeff), son Jay(Genie), grandchildren, Steven, Michael, Julie, Melissa and Jonathon, and great grandchildren Jake, Ashley, Zack, Ava, Jolie, Olivia, Daniel, and Isla. Cryptside services will be held on
Friday, May 14th, 2021 at 10:00am at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, 11520 State Road 7, Boynton Beach Florida, 33473.
