Martin Poretskin's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we share the sad news that our beloved Marty Poretskin of Brooklyn, NY has passed away peacefully at 94 years old on October 3, 2025. He was a kind, funny and generous man who touched the lives of so many. His warmth, humor and goodness made the world brighter for everyone who knew him.
Marty was deeply loved by his wife, Leila, his son Barry and his wife Simone, and his grandchildren Jodi, Justin, Dustin and Marisa, as well as his great grandchildren Kahya, DJ, Kennedy and Corbin, his nieces, nephews and so many friends. He had a way of making everyone feel special, and his presence brought laughter, comfort and joy to all of us. While we grieve this immense loss, we also celebrate the incredible life he lived and everyone will remember the special person he was. He will be missed by all.
His military burial will be Monday, October 27, 2025, at 11AM located at the South Florida VA National Cemetery, 6501 South State Rd 7, Lake Worth, FL. All are welcome to join us in remembering the wonderful person he was.
