Marvin Morton Gottlieb's Obituary
Marvin Gottlieb, age 95, passed away peacefully at home on November 25th, 2023. Marvin served his country in the United States Navy and then ran his own business for more than 30 years before retiring to Boynton Beach, Florida where he resided with his wife, Lorraine, until his death. Marvin always remained active in whatever ways he could, playing basketball, fixing whatever he could find, and volunteering in his community. Marvin loved to be around people and seemed to have friends wherever he went. Marvin leaves behind his loving wife of 71 years, Lorraine (nee Schaeffer) and is also survived by his daughter Carol Cich (George), daughter-in-law Mary, grandchildren Karen, David, Scott, Eric, Catherine, and Casey; his sister Letty Hoffman; as well as eight great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son Barry, grandson Michael and sister Zelda Brozen.
Funeral services will be held at the Beth Israel Memorial Chapel Boynton Beach on December 7th at 11AM followed by burial (12:30PM) at the South Florida National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marvin’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project or a charity of the donor’s choice.
