Marvin Spector's Obituary
Marvin Spector, age 82 of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 14th after a recent diagnosis of leukemia. He was proceeded in death by his loving wife Brenda. He is survived by loving children: Howard and Lisa Spector(daughter in law)and Stephen and Peggy Spector (daughter in law) Adoring Grandchildren: Julia Spector, Emily Spector, Jonah Spector, and Sophie Spector & loving younger brother, Frank and sister in law Joan. He was born on April 14, 1942 to Irving and Emma Spector, in the Bronx, New York. Marvin married Brenda Spector on July 4th, 1965, and they moved to Dayton, Ohio where they would raise their family, and make lifelong friends. Marvin was an exceptional role model and led by example. He was a dedicated father, husband and grandfather who cared deeply for his family and friends. He was an avid sports fan, tennis player, basketball player and loved to play poker with friends. Marvin earned two Masters degrees in Electric and systems engineering . Marvin was the highest ranking civilian engineer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. He was the chief of the Avionics research laboratory and oversaw the development of advanced fighter aircraft, stealth technology, and laser guided missile systems. He was honored upon retirement with an American flag flown over the United States Capital by Air Force Jets. After retiring, he moved to Boynton Beach Florida where he became a part time professor of mathematics at Palm Beach Community college and enjoyed over 30 cruises with his wife Brenda. May Marvin’s memory forever be a blessing. An intimate memorial service and burial will be Eternal Light Memorial Gardens Tuesday, July 16th at 10 am. Donations in memory of Marvin Spector can be made to charities providing emergency relief to suffering and grieving families in Israel or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
