Marvin Zigman's Obituary
On Saturday October 24, 2020, Marvin Seymour Zigman, loving husband and father of three children, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 82.
Marvin was born on January 6, 1938 in Newark, NJ to Harry and Anna Zigman. He graduated from Weequahic High School in 1956, Newark College of Engineering in 1960, and Lehigh University in 1966.
On June 24, 1962, Marvin married his high school sweetheart, Paula Rosenberg. She chased him until he caught her. Marvin was immensely proud of his daughter, Hedy, and two sons, Jeffrey and Jonathan.
Marvin loved to read, especially science fiction. He loved going to the beach, playing canasta, and going out for adventures and dinners with Paula and many close friends. Marvin served in volunteer leadership positions for numerous organizations over the years, including Wilson School Home and School Association, Daughters of Israel Nursing Home, and Mizner Falls Homeowners Association. Marvin was passionate about travel, especially when it involved visiting his children and grandchildren all over the world.
Marvin was a respected, beloved, and loving head of the Zigman family who was a tireless caregiver to many of his family members over the years. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Anna, and his dear sister, Jean Riegelhaupt. He is survived by his wife Paula, his children Hedy, Jeffrey, and Jonathan, his son-in-law Jeffrey, his grandchildren Orli, Eitan, Yaella, Yisrael, Naama, Aviya, Anaelle, Annie, Julia, Lauren, and Noah, his great-grandson Lavi, his nieces Sheila and Mindy, and many cousins and grand and great-grand nephews and nieces.

The funeral will be held outdoors at the graveside at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach – there is a limit of 18 attendees.
