Maurice Fine's Obituary
Maurice (Bud) Fine passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 22 in the loving arms of his wife of 43 years, Linda Wassner. His beloved cat Remy was also by his side.
Born in Philadelphia during the Great Depression Bud was the youngest of seven siblings. Despite a tough start in life, he overcame adversity, joined the army right out of high school and served in Japan for 3 years. He was a self taught man and became a successful designer and construction manager.
He loved his family and lived life to its fullest, travelling the world with friends and family. He was an expert skier and a great tennis player. He was a member of Indian Spring Country Club and loved golf and played until a few years ago. He remained young at heart throughout his life, enjoying each and every day.
He was predeceased by his beloved son, Jeffrey Fine, survived by grandchildren Brandon Fine and Beth Mitchell and great grandsons Devon and Shane. He leaves behind his beloved family members, nephew Jack Sacks (Allison), great nieces and nephew Ruth, Hilary and A.J. Sacks, nephew Tony Grass (Andrea), great niece Alexandra Grass, nieces Carol Klein, April Libman, Susan Brown, nephew Neil Fine, brother in law Gary Wassner (Cathy), nephews Brien Wassner(Mary), Cristopher Wassner (Lauren) , Cole Wassner (Erin) many other family members and friends.
Graveside services Tuesday, January 25, 10:45 a.m. at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, 11520 State Road 7 (441), Boynton Beach.
