Maxine Pechnik's Obituary
Maxine Pechnik, 83, of Delray Beach, FL, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025.
Maxine was a woman who defined beauty, class and devotion.
Born in Brooklyn New York, she was the daughter of Frank &
Minnie Eddleson. After finishing school, she worked for a
financial investment company in Manhattan. She married Samuel
"Jerry" Pechnik and was a devoted wife, as well as his business
and life partner until his passing. Thereafter she and her
companion Steve, shared a happy and fulfilling relationship until
her untimely death.
The main focus of her life was her family and insuring they were
all well cared for and, as an excellent cook, making sure they
always were well fed. Max enjoyed life to the fullest and was a
caring and generous friend. She was someone who could always
be counted on to do the right thing for their children Lonnie, Pam
and Debbie, and their families including her grandchildren, Allie,
Talia and Aiden, and her niece and nephew Lisa and Joey We
will forever miss her guidance and quick wit. She was one who
could be counted on to not mix words and call it as she saw it.
Maxine will always be one of those special people who leaves an
indelible and infinite impact on those who were close to her and
were lucky enough to be part of her life.
She will forever be in our hearts.
Her loving family
