I am greatly saddened to hear about Melanie’s unexpected passing! She was a student in my Spanish class at South Broward High School. Just recently, I ran into her good friend and fellow “Bulldog,” Shayne Erenbaum Licht, also a former student of mine at a Memorial for a former teacher at SBHS. Shayne and Melanie had plans to get together in Coral Springs this month. Both were memorable students. My condolences to her daughters and to the rest of her beloved family. May she Rest In Peace!
