Rest in peace Mel. My heart aches at the thought that you passed away. You helped to shape my life as I was growing up and I looked up to you in more ways than one. I have so many fond memories of you teaching me things & valuable life lessons. I’ll never forget when you picked me up from my theatre camp at Middlesex County College and allowed me to stay with you when I was “sick” but I really wasn’t really sick, I just wanted to hang with you so I got to play hooky that day 😂. You made me my first “coffee” drink made out of soda and milk because I wanted to drink coffee just like the adults. I’ll never forget the nuts you kept in your living room that always caught my eye and I thought it was a new snack each time. Not to mention the Disney characters you had in the bedrooms that I LOVED playing with (especially mickey mouse). Every time I saw you it was such an adventure. I will miss you every single day and cannot believe this is even real 💔😔😢😩
