From my perspective, Meyer was Grandpa Freddie's beloved baby brother. From the moment I met him, when I was just 18, I could see why he was so dear to Freddie. You see, Meyer always had a broad smile on his face, told corny jokes, and always spoke kindly towards me (and everyone else, for that matter).Kindness and generosity of the heart radiated from Meyer. Even when, especially when, acceptance and understanding were scarce, Meyer remained a steadfast source of kindness. Although I never got to know Meyer closely, like I did his big brother, Freddie, I can say with assurance that we now have 2 kind and loving 89 year old guardian angels watching over us. Keep smiling and telling those corny jokes, Meyer!
