I remember fondly the many, many conversation I had with Mike, mostly about business but we touched on all sorts of things. Mike was always pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining. A kind, soft-spoken, interesting man all around. It saddens me deeply that I will never again have the pleasure of conversing with Mike Batky.

My heart hurts to think that Mike has passed. I will always remember, after playing golf, Mike would spot the smallest kid on the practice range, and, after searching through his golf bag for a special ball, he would carefully approach them and very quietly give it to them. They would hesitantly accept it and then beam with happiness. Mike, God bless you for these special moments.
Knew him over 50 years. Great colleague but first and foremost a good man and friend. Will miss our talks and friendship.
