Born in Boston on March 18, 1943, during the height of World War II, Michael Emanual entered the world just a day after St. Patrick’s Day into a family defined by service and resilience. Mikes father the late Bob Kess served in Africa and Italy - Faced the beach landing in Anzio. Raised in Dorchester before later moving to Brookline, Massachusetts, Mike grew up under the proud legacy of a father who was a decorated war hero, having earned the Silver Star and Presidential Unit Citation for his profound bravery at the Battle of Anzio.

The Golden Years: Having successfully navigated the halls of Washington, he transitioned into a well-earned, elite retirement. As a true, premier pensioner, he now embraces the ultimate high life, basking in the sun and luxury of the legendary Del Boca Vista in Delray Beach, Florida. A longtime resident of Winchester Street in Brookline, Mike left the cold New England winters behind and embraced the Florida sunshine. He was a loving father and an amazing grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
Mike had a great passion for sports and staying active. He loved tennis and played regularly at the private clubs in Boca Raton and Delray Beach. When pickleball arrived on the scene, Mike was all over it like white on rice — diving in with the same enthusiasm and competitive spirit he brought to everything he enjoyed. He also loved swimming in the Atlantic Ocean, finding joy in the water and the coastal lifestyle he cherished.
A successful real estate investor, Mike built a strong portfolio focused on multifamily properties. Always sharp and stylish, he was rarely seen without his Rolex — a signature touch that reflected his appreciation for quality and the finer things in life.
Above all, Mike will be remembered for his kind heart, warm smile, and the love he showed his family. Over 20 years ran a multi family property now for the Son and Grand Kid - Mike, He brought energy, humor, and comfort to everyone around him. His presence will be greatly missed, but the memories he created will live on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, and friends.
