Born on November 2, 1948, in Brooklyn, New York, Michael was a true New Yorker with a larger-than-life personality, a quick wit, and a deep appreciation for family, food, travel, and the world around him.

Michael was a passionate lover of life and experiences. Long before “foodie” became a popular term, he was always searching for the best meal and an authentic experience. He traveled the world and embraced every opportunity to experience different cultures, people, and traditions.
