Michael Samuel's Obituary
Michael Samuel of Boca Raton, FL, passed away on November 3, 2025 after an illness. He is survived by his beloved children Arnie and Linda Samuel, sister Liz Weiss, son-in-law Levi Stamper, grandchildren Owen and Sasha Stamper, nephews Eddie and Tony Weiss, and niece Risa Weiss.
Born in 1942 to Arnold and Theresa Samuel, Michael grew up in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from Northeast High School, Penn State University, and the Temple University School of Law. In 1970, he moved to South Florida, where he built a fulfilling life as a much-loved dad, respected attorney, and friend to many. He eventually opened his own law practice in Hollywood, helping clients navigate civil disputes and other legal matters.
For the next 55 years, he called South Florida home. While he always had a place in his heart for his hometown of Philly, he loved the relaxed lifestyle, sunshine, and beaches of Florida. In 2006, he purchased a house in Johnson City, TN, and began splitting his residence between there and South Florida, enjoying the slower pace and surrounding mountains, too.
Michael lived his life on his terms, doing things his way, but always mindful of those around him. He loved watching sports — he was a big fan of the Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Phillies, and Penn State Nittany Lions, — 1950’s rock-n roll, working out, and his family and friends, several of whom were lifelong pals. Throughout his life, he gave back to his community as president of his Kiwanis club and through other endeavors. In later years, he volunteered for the Florida Bar.
Michael was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
