Micheline Wittman's Obituary
Micheline Reznikow Wittman was born March 7, 1934 in Paris, France. She grew up in a loving family with her mother Ida, father Baruch and two brothers, Jannot and Gilbert. Micheline, a holocaust survivor, was orphaned during WWII.
Micheline met her future husband, Marcel, when they were just 14 years old and fell deeply in love. Marcel immigrated to the United States and they corresponded for 4 years before he was able to return to Paris and marry Micheline. They have a son, Marc Bernard Wittman, who was very devoted to his mother. He remained by her side throughout her illness and hospitalization.
Micheline was a woman ahead of her time. Like many modern women, she devoted her time to working hard and taking care of her family. She had a beautiful, loving spirit, apparent to all those whose lives she touched. She never met a challenge that she could not face head on, and she never once complained.
Micheline is survived by her son Marc, brother Jannot, nephews Stephane and Alain, sister-in-law Lorraine, nieces Elana and Melissa and grand-neices Samara and Stella.
Micheline was the glue that held her family together and she will be greatly missed.
