Milton Charney's Obituary
Milton Charney, 101 years old, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 5th. Milton was born in 1924 in Brooklyn, New York, and was raised by his Loving Parents Hannah and Sol Charney. Milton then met the love of his life Rachel and married in 1943. They raised 3 daughters, Carol, Hillary, Stephanie and very fortunate to celebrate 75 years together. Milton had a passion for all things mechanical. Upon graduation from Highschool he attended a specialized automotive school, He then joined the Navy in 1943 as a Chief Motor Machinist. He is a veteran of WWII and took part in the Normandy Invasion at Omaha Beach. Upon his discharge from the Navy in 1945, he joined International Harvester as a mechanic and over time was promoted to an Executive position. He then retired with Rachel to Boca Raton at Lakes of Boca Barwood and spent many years as President of their HOA. He loved his family very much. He is survived by his daughters Carol, Hillary, Stephanie and his son in law Fred. Grandchildren Lee (Nicole), Michelle (Joe), Scott (Lisa), Keith (Amanda), Rachel (Todd), Anya. Great Grandchildren Ellie, Freddie, Lauren (Casey), Mitchell (Ashley). Great Great Grandchildren Jackson, Wesley and Collins.
