Morris Rosenberg's Obituary
Morris Rosenberg, 88, of Valencia Isles in Boynton Beach, FL passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019. Morris was born in the Bronx, NY to Isadore and Florence Rosenberg. He owned Sunrise Travel on the Lower East Side. As his family grew, he moved to Plainview, NY before retiring to Florida. Morris was a kind and gentle person who showed care and respect for all who knew him. In his retirement, Morris used his kind nature as an associate at Beth Israel Memorial Chapels, attending to the needs of grieving families. Morris was the beloved husband of Marilyn — they met in Miami Beach, fell in love and were married for 61 years. Morris was the loving father of Dr. Laurie Karpf and Gary Rosenberg; devoted father-in-law to Laurie’s late husband, Neal and Gary’s wife, Felicia; the adored grandfather of Justin, Billy, Benjamin, Corey and Matthew; a dear brother to the late Diana Kwartler; a caring brother-in-law of the late Charles, David (Adrian) Levinson and Louis (Susan) Levinson; a cherished uncle to the late Marvin, Ken (Michelle), Lainie, Julie (Dave) and Brad; and great-uncle to Joel, Sarah, Maya and Charlotte. Chapel services will be held at 11 AM on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, FL 33437 with interment to follow in Eternal Light Memorial Gardens. Shiva will be at the Rosenberg Home from 7 to 9 on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9.
