Sorry for your loss. My name is EJ. My mother Phyllis was born in December 1959 to Shirley Schaeffer in Brooklyn NY. Im trying to find some answers about my mother's birth family. You could be related to my mom's birth mother.
My mom was adopted when she was 2 days old and never knew her birth family. Her birth mother's name was Shirley Schaeffer born around 1936, maybe lived in Brooklyn or Queens NY. I'm curious, if you're related to Morton Schaeffer, he would have been Shirley's uncle, she would have been his niece. Thank you very much and apologies to post on his memorial page for information.
