Morton Tapper's Obituary
Mort Tapper of Manchineel Court passed away early on Saturday morning. He was 88. He leaves behind his wife Renee of 67 years, his two daughters Linda Tapper and Sheryl Costas, and their husbands Donald Story and Tom Costas.
Mort is remembered as a creative, quick witted and a funny man. He would give you a rhyme or a poem on any subject somebody would suggest.
He befriended so many from all walks of life. If they spoke a different language, he would learn a few words in that language so that he could have some commonality and get a smile. He gravitated toward those who were well read and liked to carry on conversations anywhere from science to nonsense. But don’t get him going on politics though!
Mort was a devoted husband to Renee. Whatever she wanted he would find it for her even if it came from a yard sale. He also
brought home things she didn’t want as a result of his yard sale adventures. He so looked forward to the weekends to find the best garage and estate sales from Jupiter to Boca Raton. He liked to fill his home with things that he loved to look at and was so very proud to show everyone who came to visit his home.
Graveside Services will held 9:30 AM on Friday December 27 at the South Florida National Cemetery 6501 State Road 7 Lake Worth, FL.33449. Please report to lane 3 by 9:15
