Mom's Obituary
Myra Fass, 89, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2023, in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Myra spent her early life in Brooklyn, NY, living with her parents Harry and Dora Zussman and her brother Bob, and attending Lincoln High School. She studied nursing at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital and married her beloved Martin Fass. The couple moved to Franklin Square, NY, where Myra pursued a highly successful nursing career, culminating in her being the Operating Supervisor at Franklin General Hospital. In Franklin Square, Myra and Marty established a life full of great involvement in the community, established and enjoyed lifelong relationships with a wide range of dear friends, traveled throughout the world, and raised their three sons. Upon retiring, she spent her golden years living in the River Bridge community in Green Acres Florida, where she and Marty continued to pursue their love of opera, theater and travel. Myra also stayed deeply involved in social activities along with doing volunteer work and being an active member of her temple congregation.
Myra is predeceased by her husband Martin Fass, and survived by her children Harold (and wife Carole), Bennett (and wife Chrissy) and Adam (and wife Jennifer); grandchildren, Greg (and wife Emily), Hanna (and husband Anthony), Madeline, Heather, Erik and Liam; and great grandchildren, Isaiah and Anthony.
Myra was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and daughter. Myra was a source of great strength to all and was always the person one could count on to provide wisdom and guidance.

Funeral services will be held at 10:15 on Friday, August 18, 2023, at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, Florida, 33437.
