Neal Anthony Galbo's Obituary
Neal Anthony Galbo, 64, of Island Lakes in Boca Raton passed away suddenly on Wednesday January 9, 2019. A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University – Metropolitan Campus, Neal was a software systems architect who worked in the electronics industry for 35+ years. Currently the Chief Scientist and System Architect at Avalanche Technology, Inc., Neal had been previously associated with Micron Technology, Lexar Media, and Galbo and Associates.
Neal was a caring man who worried about everybody – he was a problem solver who loved helping others with finding solutions. Neal had a certain presence when he walked into a room — you knew he was there without being overbearing. His family and friends will attest to his “big heart, big mouth, and dry sense of humor”. He was also a wonderful musician who enjoyed playing the piano.
Neal was the beloved husband of Debbie for 35 years; the devoted father of Vincent (Stephanie) Galbo, Jonathan Galbo, and Alexa (Matthew) Macmenomay; the dear brother of Celeste (Teddy) Worthington and the late Peter Galbo; and the loving grandfather of Violet Galbo, the “apple of his eye”.
Chapel services will be held 12:15 PM on Monday January 14, 2019 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, Florida 33437 followed by interment in Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach.
