Neil Jeffrey Goldman's Obituary
Neil Jeffrey Goldman, age 75 died in a bicycle accident on Feb. 26, 2021. Neil was a fitness instructor at Buena Vida community and personal trainer. He was known as “The Bald Wimp” and has been an avid athlete, weightlifter and long distance biker for most of his adult life. He was currently training for another 500 mile bike trip for his 75th birthday that was postponed by COVID.
Neil was a proud Vietnam veteran and staunch "Brooklyn" Dodger fan. Neil and his wife, Paula, retired to Boynton Beach after 35 years raising their daughter in Los Angeles, CA. He loved living in Florida and being reunited with East coast friends from childhood and bringing in scores of new friends that have become family. He will be greatly missed in his community and is survived by his wife of 55 years, Paula Goldman; daughter, Debra Goldman; brother, Philip (Sheryl) Goldman; sister, Miriam (Alan) Goldman.
Graveside services will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday, March 15th at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S. State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449 - ATTENDANCE IS EXTREMELY LIMITED PLEASE CONTACT THE FAMILY IF YOU INTEND TO ATTEND. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Road, Boynton Beach, FL 33437. Contributions may be made in memory of Neil Goldman to www.tunnel2towers.org - an organization that provides homes and aid to disabled veterans.
