Norman Michael Artzt's Obituary
Our dear loving father Norman Artzt, born June 3, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York, passed away April 1, 2026.
Our dad started working at the age of 13 to help support his mother and grandmother at the age of 20. He opened up his first hair salon in Brooklyn, and after a couple of successful salons, decided to move our family to Florida in 1987. He and our mother, Judi built their empire with beauty salons all over South Florida.
As we all know our dad was a very funny person as soon as you started a conversation with him, you laughed from beginning to end. He was very thoughtful and very generous to people he loved. He was a hard worker, loyal and loving to those that he knew. We will miss him and always have him in our hearts.
Norman is survived by his loving children, Matthew (Rebecca) Artzt, Eric Artzt, and
Stacie Artzt (Benny Lopez); and adoring granddaughter, Rachael Artzt.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judi Artzt, and his brothers,
Burton Artzt and Carl Artzt.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel (Delray) Location. 5808 W. Atlantic Avenue Delray Beach, FL 33484.
Entombment will follow at 12:15pm at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens.
11520 State Road 7 Boynton Beach, FL 33473.
