Norman Kizner's Obituary
Norman Kizner passed away peacefully at his home in Boynton Beach, Florida on October 28th,
2020. Norman was the husband of Edith (Levine) Kizner, who predeceased him and with whom
he shared 60 years of marriage. He was born in Boston on July 20, 1927, the son of Philip and
Molly Kizner. He is survived by his two sons, Richard (Phyllis) of Peabody, MA.; and Gerald of
Boynton Beach, Florida. He was also the beloved grandfather of Liana Kizner of West Roxbury,
MA.; and Robert Kizner of Peabody, MA. Norman graduated from Cambridge High school and
Bentley University, where he received a degree in Accounting. He raised his family in Randolph,
MA. and later went on to open a successful mattress store in Medford, MA., called Suburban
Sleep Center. After being a Florida snowbird for many years, Norman retired full time to Florida
in the 90’s. He enjoyed trips with his wife, and playing poker with his group of friends.
A private graveside will be held on Friday, October 30th . In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to
