Norman Rothman's Obituary
Norman Rothman, 86, of Lake Worth, FL passed away Thursday December 20, 2018. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Norman came to our area 14 years ago from Bergen County, NJ and became an active member of his Villaggio community where he led and sang in the choir and acted in plays. These hidden talents came to light upon his retirement in Florida, after a lifetime of hard work as an entrepreneur and salesman. Norman was an enthusiastic sportsman, and New York sports enthusiast, who played stick ball and baseball, and enjoyed bowling and playing billiards. He was also a proud Korean War veteran. A man who brought joy to everyone he met, Norman’s youthful spirit, ethereal voice, and true heart will be remembered. Norman leaves his loving family; wife Helen of 63 years; son Fred (Jodi) Rothman and daughter Jodie Rothman; cherished grandchildren Samantha (Robbie) Galbo, Lecia Rothman, and Alie Rothman; and dear brother Charles (Sally) Rothman. Chapel services and military honors will take place at 11 AM on Sunday December 23, 2018 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, FL 33437 followed by entombment in Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach. Rabbi David Baum of Congregation Shaarei Kodesh in Boca Raton will officiate.
