We felt so lucky that fate brought us together with Paula, we had many wonderful times together and I was always struck by what a strong woman she was to have survived what she did and then have the fortitude and determination to move to The United States ahead of her family and then make such a wonderful life here. We felt for those few years that we were living so close to her in Boca that we were her surrogate sons and we still remember how she would always end her voicemails…. “Paula”
