Paulette Evanda Wasserman (nee Gold) - 87, of NY, Boston, Boca Raton. Ahead of her time and passing too soon (respiratory failure/COVID-19 infection), Peggie (her nickname and acronym) was an accomplished advocate to those facing disabilities (GBARC - The Fenway, Boston); service officer (Jewish War Veterans - JFK Federal Building, Boston); management/buyer/sales (Worth Ave; Chestnut Hill; Boca Raton; Jeweler's Exchange Building, Boston); student of design; float queen; sorority sister; daughter (Isaac Gold and Rae Gold (nee Jacobs), both pre-deceased; sister (Elliott Gold, Shirley Kohn (nee Gold), both pre-deceased); and homemaker: interior decorator, landscape designer, crafts pursuer (papier tole, beading/sequin-work, needlepoint, floral arrangement, and chef extraordinaire. Beloved wife of WWII veteran copilot Charles Isadore Wasserman, and adoptive mother to two children: Stephen Scott Wasserman (pre-deceased) and Randy Wasserman.
She leaves behind a legion of friends, associations, and family throughout her life, and those she made in her later golden years: her significant other, WWII veteran Norman Neufeld (pre-deceased) and his family, and their extended relations: the Marks, Davret, Cohen, and Rothstein families. Contributions may be considered to honor her life via your organization of choice, or in the areas of: scientific advancements in cancer treatment; food distribution to homeless individuals; veterans organizations; and assisting Jewish children and individuals to find their forever homes.
