My last Grandparent, Grandma Pearl, thank you for all you have done for me in my life. From my clothes, to sports equipment, and all the rides to my friends, and most importantly my schooling - I would never be who I am today without you and Grandpa. Say hi to him for me. I will always remember going upstairs to the sounds of Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and the AC on in the summer to get some ice cream. In both Brooklyn and Massaepqua, these are my favorite memeories. RIP Grandma Pearl, you will be greatly missed, thank u for everything.

Pearl was a wonderful lady always there for her family. Pearl and Saul showed what family is all about. Therefore pearl and Saul were blessed with wonderful sons, grandchildren and great children. And of course the in-laws too. I know pearl in heaven and with her husband Saul. Rest In Peace in heaven. Pearl will definitely be missed but we all know pearl in heaven resting peacefully in paradise.

Not only were you a great mother, wife, and grandmother, but you were a great aunt to all your nieces and nephews of which I am one. Growing up in Brooklyn in 1960s and 1970s was a tough learning experience. I was raised in the projects and a trip to Aunt PEarls house was like going to the country. All the years of cookout, bowling parties, and seders are forever in my mind. The loving kindness of my aunt and uncle taking me In and partly raising me while my parents went through tough times will always be greatly appreciated and a godsend to be caring to others as they were to me. I spent a lot of time as a teenager banned from the house for having a big mouth but eventually I grew out of these turbulent tern years and turned out to be mostly a well adjusted father and grandfather thanks to the patience, generosity, and kindness of my AUnt PEarl. I wish I could have seen you sooner, although you will be physically missed, you will forever be in my heart. God bless all.

Thank you Pearl for all the kindness you showed me through years.
You and Saul made me a part of your family. You always made me feel welcomed when visiting in Canarsie and later in Massapequa when we'd gather for holiday family dinners.
Saul was always more vocal and outspoken but I enjoyed your quiet wry sense of humor.
Your love of books and crossword puzzles made you a kindred spirit and I still make mashed potatoes the way I learned them from you.

Please know that your son Philip loved you and will miss you very much, even though its hard for him to express even now.

You were a wife, mother and hard working business professional long before such things were acknowledged and as such a role model for your children and grandchildren.

You can rest now knowing your family thrives and will forever miss you and remember you fondly.

Where to even begin? Grandma you have always played a large role in my life. Most childhood, teenage even adult memories I have include you and grandpa in them. Trips to the mall, grocery store, our lunches at fridays where I insisted on getting appetizers even though you said I would be too full to eat my meal. Always stocked up with all our favorite snacks and drinks even after you moved to Florida. Making sure you always had a fresh bag of wise cheese doodles for me. Going upstairs sitting and talking with you watching soaps and jeopardy. All the rides for me and my friends. Everyone knew grandma pearl. You loved your grandchildren and great grandchildren especially and you didn't have to say it, it always showed. I was blessed to have you in my life as long as I did. I know you are happy to be with grandpa again. I will miss our phones calls and facetimes. I love you grandma 💜🦋 rest in peace.

My kid’s
Grandmother Pearl passed away Sunday she was an amazing Grandmother to them and the last Grandparent left. It seems like when they’re gone the memories just start pouring in, the Saturday’s you and Saul would go food shopping and come back with tons of bags that I would come out to help because you had a big stoop and a flight of stairs. but a lot of the heavy stuff went right into my door, the cans of formula, jars of baby food not to mention the diapers in and out we’d go carrying hearing you yell at Saul for embarrassing you at the store with his corny jokes! Talking to strangers “Stop it Pearl” he’d say. I loved the pounding on my ceiling because you would let them run around when they’d “go up visit” As the kids got older you’d stock up on chips, cookies, ice cream their favorite drinks, there was always an entennmans cake on the counter that I would pick at when I’d go up visit lol the occasional Brooklyn lox and Bagels, Your trips with your best friend Sylvia to PA you would come back with cloths from the outlets, coming home from work with “a new one” ( matchbox car) for Danny and the big pink bag from Conway's . We left for Massapequa and you’d come on Saturday’s with cold cuts to visit. I know you liked Rod Stewart but I think of Billy Joel’s song “uptown girl”where Saul would take the subway and you would just walk up the block to your air conditioned Command bus lol when I worked on Wall Street you would take me to lunch, you were the Executive Secretary and a very smart lady, you were the old fashioned office girl that wore those shoes through your travels until you saw the sneakers with the skirts like me and changed to the shoes under your desk, you’d rock the sneakers till you retired. You and Saul knew NYC better then anyone! When we’d go through a toll or out for dinner Saul would say, “pay it Pearl”! Lol you yelled him but you would always pay anyway. You then joined us in Massapequa and your help continued with the car rides to school and back, their friends, and you made friends yourself with the Brooklyn neighbors. You have stuck up for me many of times and I will never forget it. Thank you for being the best Grandmother to my kids and for being a second mother to me.❤️🙏🏻

Rest in comfort and peace Mom, you've gone on to reunite with Dad. I am forever grateful for the life and upbringing you provided me and for the loving, caring nurturing Grandmother and "GG" you were to my children, your Grandchildren and your Great Grandchildren.
