Pearl Zane, Nickname given Penny@ 1/1/29 to her by her husband, Irving. She grew up on Marcy Place off of the Grand concourse in the Bronx, NY with her parents, Morris and Laka Kushner and her older sister Ann Mitchell who survives her
She is survived by her two children, Jeffrey & his wife Deborah Balik and Linda & her husband Ira Fiebert. She is also survived by Linda's child Rori, her oldest grandchild and Jeffrey's children Gabrielle and Alexander
Penny and her husband Irving moved first to Queens, NY and then to Manhasset Hills, NY with their children. Every weekend her sister=s family came to her home to visit and about once a month her parents and in-laws would visit.
She was the office manager and financial person for the northeast in Long Island, NY for Florsheim shoe company, a hyprid woman before her time and then worked for her daughter.
She is also survived by her nieces Joan, Stephanie, Susann, and her nephews, Michael, Robert
She is the first generation born to Russian immigrants. She loves dogs, horses and babies.
She was a woman that had her own financial independence and she was a typical mother as well.
