Phyllis J Bennett's Obituary
Phyllis Bennett, age 94 of Boynton Beach, FL passed away on February 5, 2026.
Born in Brooklyn NY, to Estelle & Bernard Sheridan, she was a laboratory tech and middle school science in NY. She was passionate about quilting, sewing, competitive bridge and meals out with friends. Phyllis’ husband of 39 years, Edward Bennett, passed away in 1993.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Bennett (husband Donald Levy) and Marjorie Schiffrin (husband Larry Schiffrin); grandchildren, Jackie Levy, Andrea Levy, Yenti Cohen, Joshua Schiffrin and Rochel Charazi, their spouses and 7 great grandchildren all of whom were her pride and joy.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, 2:30pm at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the PBS Foundation.
