Phyllis Gorelick's Obituary
Phyllis Schaefer Gorelick
A resident of Boynton Beach, FL, passed away on August 25, 2022, at the age of 80. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Gorelick, and brother David Schaefer. Born and raised in Bronx, NY, she was a graduate of Mt. Sinai School of Nursing and worked for many years as a surgical nurse. Among other things, she loved cruises, frogs, playing gin rummy with her brother, and rice pudding. Phyllis will be remembered for her ready laugh and her pride in her family. Survivors include her son, Dr. Marc Gorelick (Dr. Lynn Broaddus) of Minneapolis, MN; daughter, Beth Gorelick, of Coconut Creek, FL; and grandchildren, Evan (Katie O'Connell), Girard, Aliyah, and Alexa. A memorial service will be held later in the fall. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Road, Boynton Beach, FL 33437.
