Phyllis Rosen of Delray Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on June 3, 2022 at 92 years of age. Phyllis graduated from the University of Miami where she met her future husband and best friend, Marvin, to whom she was married for 70 years. She majored in fashion construction/design and with a great sense of style enjoyed sewing clothing her whole life. Phyllis was the owner of a personalized stationary and gift shop, RSVP Phyllis Rosen on Ocean Avenue in West End, NJ. Upon retirement, she and Marvin moved from Ocean, NJ, where they raised their children, to Delray Beach, Florida. During her leisure, Phyllis was a voracious reader, knitter/needle pointer, bridge player, and lover of jigsaw puzzles. She constantly nurtured and expanded her indoor and outdoor plantings and loved all animals domestic and wild. Phyllis had a passion for actively scouring juried craft shows and decorated extensively with unique pieces she purchased directly from artisans.
Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, Henrietta and Bernard Katsin, brother and sister-in-law Charles (Anita) Katsin, sister and brother-in-law Ruth (Robert) Kislin, brother-in-law Robert Rosen, son-in-law Donald Zuckerman, nephew Rodger Kislin and niece Lori Pudles. She is survived by her husband Marvin, sisters-in-law Shirley Rosen and Eileen Berger, children Cathy (Rolf) Zuckerman, and Jeffrey (Ellen) Rosen, grandchildren Andy (Tara) Zuckerman, Eric (Jessica) Zuckerman, Elizabeth and Amy Rosen and Ryan, great-grandchildren Andrew, Oliver and Emily and many nieces and nephews. A piece of Phyllis lives within all who knew and loved her. Her memory is a blessing.
