Phyllis Lorraine Siskin's Obituary
A resident of Boynton Beach, FL, passed away on December 2, 2022, at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Siskin. Survivors include her daughter, Laurie (Ted) Kurdziel; son, Mark (Susie) Siskin; grandchildren, Josh Siskin and Andrea (Peter) Cowan; great-grandchildren, Maya and Dani. Phyllis was born in Binghamton, New York where she was a homemaker, Hebrew school teacher and small theater performer. Once her children were grown she and Marvin moved to Florida where she started the successful Diet Workshop franchise. Phyllis was a loving mother, wife and grandmother, a wonderful story teller and Yiddish singer and a savvy businesswoman. She always had a kind word for everyone and a smile on her face which brought joy to any room that she entered. She will be missed by so many. A graveside service will be held at 2:15 PM on Monday, December 5th at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, 11520 State Road 7, Boynton Beach, FL 33473. Rabbi Paul Offenkrantz to officiate. Contributions may be made in her loving memory to either the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Road, Boynton Beach, FL 33437.
