Rachel Lugassy's Obituary
Rachel Lugassy, 92, of Boynton Beach, FL passed away Monday December 23, 2019. Born in Tunisia, Rachel came to the U.S. by herself at the age of 27 and settled in New York City. While learning English Rachel put herself through beauty school and enjoyed a successful career as a hairstylist, temporarily leaving the field to raise her children. After returning to her profession, Rachel again stopped working in order to raise her three grandchildren. Rachel has been married to David for 57 years. In addition to being the beloved wife of David, Rachel was the devoted mother of Michael (Allison) Lugassy and Aliza (George) Campbell; the cherished grandmother of Stephanie (Michael) Vespoli, Eric Lugassy, and Kai Campbell; and the dear sister of Andre Sitbon. Graveside services will be held 10 AM Thursday at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach.
