Ralph Gold's Obituary
Ralph Gold, 88, of Boynton Beach, FL, passed away on June 23, 2020 at his home. Ralph was born on March 22, 1932 in Scranton, PA to Abraham Jacob Gold and Sophie (Dollinger) Gold.
Ralph grew up in Scranton, PA. After serving in the US Navy, he graduated from the University of Scranton and shortly thereafter began working at Columbia Pictures in New York City where he met Rosalind Lazar. From there Ralph went on to become a successful accountant.
Ralph married Rosalind Beverly Lazar in 1962 in New York. They were happily married for 57 years. Ralph enjoyed watching sports on TV and spending time with his family. Although he was an avid Jets fan, along with other New York sports teams, he had also adopted the Dolphins, Marlins and Heat as his home teams.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Abraham Jacob and Sophie, his brothers, Bernard and Milton, and his son, Adam Neil.
Ralph is survived by his beloved spouse for 57 years to Rosalind Beverly Lazar Gold of Boynton Beach, FL; his daughter, Erin (Neil) Gold Phillips of West Palm Beach, FL, his Daughter-in-Law, Deborah Ellison Gold, his grandchildren, Savannah Gold and Sydnee Gold, as well as his nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A private memorial service will be held for Ralph. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Road, Boynton Beach, FL 33437
