Randy Glassman's Obituary
Randy Glassman, of Boynton Beach, FLA lost a valiant ten-month battle against brain cancer on July 28th, 2015.
Born in Phila, PA, Randy attended Temple University and completed her BA and MA degrees in Special Education at Florida Atlantic University. She went on to teach Special Education for ten years.
A loving wife to Steven, and incredible mom to Nicole and Adam; also survived by Claudia (daughter-in-law), Ansley (3) and Makenzie (1), her precious granddaughters, Charles Brecker (brother) and his wife, Natalie of North Miami Beach, Karen Flieder (sister) and her husband, Saul of Hatboro, PA. Randy is also mourned by her nieces, nephews and Mickey Glassman, her second mom, Larry and Brenda Glassman, and her furry babies, Jelly and Beanie.
Randy was all heart. She adored her family, friends, fresh flowers and all things “bling.” As an eternal optimist, Randy always saw the best in everyone. She sympathized with their hardships, and always offered support in any way she could. She never put a price on the importance of friendship or family; she was the glue that held everyone together as she kept them close to her heart. A breath of fresh air, Randy always put what was important in life first: her family. The numerous lives Randy touched through her kindness and charitable actions are a testament to her compassionate heart. She began each day watching the sunrise and appreciating the gorgeous “colors of life.” Despite her health problems, Randy viewed each day with hope and optimism and belief in the possibilities that the day offered. She lived life as though every single day was the start of an important adventure.
