Lord Raymond Mills Johnson's Obituary
Lord Raymond Arthur Robert Mills-Johnson was born on September 12, 1948, in Southern on Sea and graduated high school from Westminster College in England.
Raymond received his master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, and a Ph.D. in Counseling and Religion from the University of California in San Francisco.
Raymond worked for Palm Beach County’s Driving Under the Influence (DUI) program as an evaluator and as a facilitator teaching DUI classes. He also worked in private practice counseling a variety of clients.
He was a certified hypnotherapist through The National Guild of Hypnotism and particularly enjoyed doing past life regression sessions using hypnotherapy. He also presented stress management and past life workshops. Raymond delivered training sessions to employees in Monroe County and worked with offenders in the criminal justice system.
In addition to working in the mental health field, Raymond also worked at The Everglades Club in Palm Beach for twenty years, where he loved to interact with and entertain members in between his bookkeeping responsibilities.
Raymond officially became a Lord on September 2, 2010, at the Summit House at 12 Red Lion Square in London. He is survived by his brother, Allen Mill-Jennings, his sister-in-law, Jill, and his nephews Matthew and Ashley, who all live in England.
The celebration of life event will take place at Portofino at 2600 N Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, on Saturday, August 26th at the pool.
In lieu of flowers, Raymond requested donations to go toward his two nonprofit organizations: The Voice for the Children, Inc. (Marianne Malky, 561-586-8515) and Comprehensive Offender Rehab & Re-entry, Inc. (Lori B Long, 561-360-5050).
