My dear sister Rhoda,
I was twelve years old when Rhoda married Stuart Fox in January 1956. They lived in Poughkeepsie, NY, 90 miles away. In 1968, Cheryl, our daughter, Bonnie and I moved to California so I was much further away from my mom, sisters and their families.
Our parent’s three children always managed to stay in touch and were fortunate to have been together for many of our family celebrations.
Rhoda, at last you will join your beloved husband and baby Nadine, who was taken at such an early age.
Rest in peace my sweet sister, you will live forever in my heart
My dear sister Rhoda and I had a wonderful childhood, together with our brother Arthur. She was my friend and confidant and always there for me. We shared a bedroom growing up and she enjoyed listening to radio programs while we went to sleep.
I always admired how she prepared for holidays. She was a wonderful cook and my family always enjoyed drives to Poughkeepsie to see everyone there and enjoy a wonderful visit.. Aunt Rhoda always had little gifts for all. Besides entertaining, she loved crafts, traveling and her career as a teacher. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, Aunt and good friend to all. Her devotion to her beloved Stu made her happy. They shared many good times together.
I will miss the companionship we had. I was so lucky to have my older sister always available to talk to. She could never be replaced!
Grandma Rhoda was the best grandma ever and no one can replace her, i will miss her forever and always. Love yosef winter❤️
My mother, Rhoda C Fox, was very special to me because she was my Mom. She was always so excited to hear my voice or see me. There will never be anyone on this earth who loves me in her way. You get only one mother and I am grateful she was mine. She is missed by her 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren here in Israel and one grandson in New York. May your soul join the righteous of Israel. Love you, Doreen
Our dear Florida Grandma who could make a chicken soup like nobody else, who could listen to her grandson playing the piano nonstop, who made card playing fun and who never forgot a birthday, we will miss you. Rest in peace.
