Richard Goldman's Obituary
Richard Goldman of The Carlisle in Lantana, FL, formerly of the Bronx and Spring Valley, NY, and Royal Palm Beach and Boynton Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2016 surrounded by his family. Richard served his country proudly during World War II, spending two years stationed in the Aleutian Islands near Alaska. He was married to his childhood sweetheart, Lillian, who passed away last September shortly after celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary. Now that they’ve been reunited, they can resume dancing to the music of Louis Prima.
Richard had a sharp wit, a deep love of nature and played tennis well into his eighties. The “Goldman drop shot” was infamous throughout much of Rockland and Palm Beach Counties. Richard is survived by his children Alberta (Abbe), Stephen & Karen, his cherished in-laws Richard & Celeste, and his two grandsons Karl & Jonathan Kaufman. Funeral services will be held at the Beth Israel Memorial Chapel at 11115 Jog Road in Boynton Beach 33437 on Thursday, April 7 at 11:15 AM with interment to follow at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, Boynton Beach, FL.
