RICHARD MARK OLIPHANT's Obituary
Richard Oliphant, 79, of Coral Springs, Florida, passed away on December 22, 2020. Richard was born to Samuel and Ruth Oliphant on December 27, 1940 in Jersey City, NJ. He graduated from Henry Snyder High School and Ohio Wesleyan University, where he studied Economics. After serving in the Army during the Vietnam War, he worked as an accountant for Haskins & Sells, the New York Times, and later became a financial consultant with a focus on helping privately held companies become publicly traded.
Richard married his beloved Lynne Hyman in 1974, and together they raised their three children in New Jersey and Florida. In 2008, Richard was preceded in death by Lynne. He is survived by his daughter Dara and husband Lance; daughter Debra and husband Marlon; son Michael; and four grandchildren: Jayden, Sydney, Eliot, and Braelynne. Richard will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Private Services will be held on Decemebr 27, 2020.
